These Metal-Rings when used together with the ARC Rubber Rings ensure a tight seal on the bead. 

Important - The proper function is only guaranteed when used correctly:

• The metal-ring must be perfectly be inserted into the rubber-ring and the entire unit must be placed correctly inside the bead.
• the best positioning of the lock pin (3positions) is given when the system can be locked. If the ring is too tight, the the locking system cannot be locked, if it is too loose, there may be issues with sealing.
• A wrong seating can cause that the locking mechanism to be damaged.
